COVID POSTERS

The second-year Printed Graphics students of the Artediez school elaborated a series of posters on the occasion of the covid, images to take care of you and share. Development:

I chose to create a character, which should appear on most of my posters; a hand. However, I first came up with a series of phrases / words that should inspire me: "Shower, Keep Distance, Alcohol Shower, Don't touch me and Keep Kalm".

On the other hand, not all the phrases / words inspired me the same, so I ended up creating two other characters completely alien to my protagonist: a billiard ball and toilet paper. Even breaking with this idea, I wanted them to relate to each other by: colours and typography.

For this proposal I thought of something that was simple but fun and that at the same time attracted attention. A form of communication that was received by the public in a receptive way and not from fear or fear, pleasant images to see but with a message to transmit.

In "Keep Kalm", what might look like a typo in the second word is actually intentional. It alludes to the chaos that was generated during the confinement and the excessive purchases of food and basic necessities. But this time, from a toilet paper point of view.

"Keep Distance" with the billiard ball makes sense when you think that a billiard stick measures 1.50 m, the established safe distance. It is a game to associate one concept with another.

For the end I have left you the poster that was selected to be exhibited outside the Artediez school in A3 format. In this poster the protagonists are a hand and a surgical mask. The message I want to send with him is: "You must not touch your mask with your hand."

YOROKOBU COVER

In pairs, my partner Dani and I, in class, we made a front and back cover for the Yorokobu magazine contest. Each pair was assigned a word, from which ideas should come. We were assigned the word "composition". After brainstorming, making different mood boards, a mind map and several sketches ... we contemplated the possibility of linking the word competition with the word fertilization, moving away from the first concepts that come to mind when you think of this word Thus the idea was born.
For this work we use 6 colors and organic shapes.
